Who would report on it? Until they literally start jailing reporters en masse, there's no reason to leave the newsroom and do real work. Remember, there are "two sides to every story." This report of Conyers' is only one side. The Administration needs to be allowed to "respond."

My comment is mostly tongue-in-cheek, Charles -- and I know how newsworthy the report is. It's astounding in its completeness and complexity -- which is exactly why it will pass unnoticed except by those with some intellectual curiosity. There's no ratings appeal in a ten-minute news segment documenting the atrocities. However, "In other news...liberal Democratic Representative John Conyers from Michigan today released a 350-page report documenting what he sees as violations of the Constitution by the current Administration. Bush press secretary Tony Snow called Conyers' report 'clearly partisan politics' and a 'weak attempt to draw partisanship into the War on Terror.' And now with more on the manatee in the East River, here's John Coctosan."
