Feinstein voted Yea?! What is this country coming to? I mean here is a classic example of how political rhetoric is simply hollow, valorizing Ambrose Bierce's spot on definition of a politician:
"I am deeply disappointed that this bill fails to hold the President accountable for his Administration’s flawed Iraq War policy. The American people have made their voices clear that there must be an exit strategy for Iraq. Yet this President continues to stubbornly adhere to more of the same."
But...she still voted for the bill!!
And 11 No Votes in the House?! COMPLETELY unacceptable !!
This one vote will weigh heavily when I go to the election booth again. Would that it will for others also.
Hats off to Boxer, Clinton, Feingold, Obama, Kennedy, Kucinich, Kerry, Sheila Jackson-Lee, Pelosi and the others who voted the will of their constituents.
