Disenchantment

The Invertabrating of the Democrats claims another soul: Cindy Sheehan is throwing in the towel.

After all the scurrilous attacks by the right wing pundit class, all the insinuations that we, who wanted this bullshit stopped posthaste, are dancing on her son's grave, it takes the "good guys" for her to give up:

I guess no one paid attention to me when I said that the issue of peace and people dying for no reason is not a matter of "right or left", but "right and wrong.

Nice. I was unaware of any smear of this Patriot by the left, but, as such, it underscores what the real problem is, the real threat to democracy: The Two Party Hegenomy. This system makes party affiliation more important than country, and makes it very easy for both to suck on the corporate teat, while claiming they are for everybody.
