Again with the Nazi simile?

Give it a rest already, will ya...

JERUSALEM — President Bush used a speech to the Israeli Parliament on Thursday to denounce those who would negotiate with “terrorists and radicals” — a remark that was widely interpreted as a rebuke to Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential contender, who has argued that the United States should talk directly with countries like Iran and Syria.

  2. Well, he knows from Nazis, having had a grandfather who made his bones trading with the Third Reich.

  3. If you haven't watched Chris Matthews absolutely dismember this right-wing talk show hack over this issue, you should. It's a thing of beauty. The bloodletting starts about four minutes in.

I don't know what happened to Matthews over the last couple of weeks. It's as if he rediscovered some semblance of spine. I guess sitting next to Olbermann through all this has been good for him.

  4. Wow! Dismember is an understatement. Aside from the beauty of watching that moron get vaporized, it was a primo example of the hollow rhetoric of the right.
