Roger Ebert just wrote a column supporting creationism that he later claimed was satire. He seemed to think that the explanations he used were too far-fetched to be believed.

Now, the question is....do we want McCain to keep her around, so that most sane American swing voters won't vote for him. Or, he ditches her somehow and picks up Mitt Romney...which might pull him some votes.

McCain loses either way, in my estimation. The reason he didn't choose the-god help me-more qualified Romney is because the idiot Right Wingers would have taken their ball and gone home. One the other hand, she is a millstone around his neck, and this Thursday will demonstrate that emphatically.
