My two cents if anyone cares ... Palin didn't do terrible. But she didn't knock it out of the park like Biden. His performance last night was right on, and proof that Obama picked the best person for the job. In hindsight, I'm glad Obama didn't cave to the pressure to pick Clinton as his running mate. Biden is a great strategic pick for many reasons ... but mostly I think the two of them will mesh well together. I'm feeling more hopeful than I have in a long time. It feels good. I just don't want to get crushed again.

ReplyDeleteShe didn't implode like I hoped, but she was an embarrassing tangle of jingo, with a kind of Bachman Turner Overdrive concert feel.
It's amazing though; She said a lot of words, but she didn't really say anything, aside from this little tidbit: She'd govern like Cheney.
That should scare the shit out of anybody with a brain
