When I worked at the library, I would occasionally run into paranoid fellows who still saw a communist behind every tree, and in their social security cards.
I was under the impression that the John Birch Society, like the Whigs, were a quaintly weird political blip, until I met these folks.
Anyway, just another scene from this historic day.
I didn't know Obama was a communist, though it wouldn't change my vote. He would still be the better choice.
