Wow.

I got to my polling place, The Mother of God Church, at around ten after six, and I was something like the 25th person in line. By the time I voted (a touch screen, by the way-ugh), there were probably 45 people in line.

Funny...I don't remember that last time.

  1. My place, a Methodist church, was also packed. We had "scan tran" fill in the bubble ballots that were fed into a computerized reader when we finished. One woman's ballot wouldn't feed through so she had to fill out another. As I was leaving, the second one wouldn't feed through either. She was not pleased.
